Meetings

Our meetings are
held at 9:00 a.m. every Monday morning at St. Mark Church (see
map) and are open to all visitors. First time visitors should
arrive a few minutes early. There is no charge for the first meeting and no obligation
to join.
What to Expect
Because everyone knows how
difficult a career transition may be, each meeting begins by sharing the successes of the
past week. For example, there are announcements by people who found employment, or
sharing of good interview experiences, or reading success letters from BBJ alumni.
Network. Network.
Network. The group shares information about companies that are hiring.
Everyone is
invited to ask the attendees for information about specific companies a
person may be researching.
Typically, each meeting has a
professional speaker who addresses the group on a topic related
to
career transition. Interested in the topic for next week? Want to
know who will be presenting? Check out the calendar.
The meetings are concluded
with committee announcements, invitations to make use
of the member services, and introduction of new
members. New members are asked to attend an
orientation session to receive further details on BBJ membership.
